Help lead our Retail store, ensure it is open for business and that sales are made effectively.

Lead our energetic retail team and help create a memorable experience for every guest. 

Key responsibilities

• Open, merchandise, and replenish the store so it looks its best from first lift to last run.
• Maximise daily sales and minimise lost-sale opportunities through attentive service and strong stock availability
• Coach staff on product knowledge; handle any escalated queries or complaints
• Process payments and reconcile tills accurately and professionally at day’s end
• Provide clear on-shift leadership, ensuring every guest receives thorough, efficient service

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako ōu | Your skills and experience

• Strong written and verbal communication; able to brief and motivate a diverse team
• Previous retail experience; supervisory or team-lead experience desirable
• Proven customer-service excellence, remaining calm and solution-focused under pressure
• Competent with POS/inventory software and comfortable using Excel (or Google Sheets) for daily sales and stock reporting
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25 kg for stock handling in alpine conditions
• Knowledge of snowsports or outdoor gear a bonus – but not essential!
